Jeff Man

Jeff Man grew up in an immigrant family that bonded over watching movies together. He fell in love with making films when he bought a camera and learned to shoot and edit. In 2010, he moved to Los Angeles and began working for writer-director Jay Duplass. While working for Jay, Jeff continued honing his craft by making low-budget shorts. In 2012 he was accepted into the Armed with a Camera Fellowship for emerging artists by Visual Communications, an Asian American non-profit media organization. His narrative and documentary shorts have screened at festivals across the country including his film SANTA CLAUS, which premiered at the LA Film Festival and won the jury prize at the San Diego Asian Film Festival. In 2023 the Duplass Brothers produced Jeff's first feature film, PAPER MARRIAGE, which he wrote, directed and starred in.
